About the Galerij
This large space is accessible from our restaurant. It’s the largest plenary space in the Tolhuistuin. Previously this space was primarily used for art exhibitions, but we’ve upgraded it a bit and it is now also very well suited for a variety of public and private events. With a maximum capacity of 250 seats in a theatre setting, this venue is very well equipped for presentations, conferences, but also for seated dinners, receptions and other events. The space has a magnificent view of the IJ river and Overhoeks and can be tastefully furnished. There is a sliding wall that makes it possible to split up the space (‘Galerij large’ and ‘Galerij small’) and gives you the possibility to host separate workshops within the room.
