This large space is accessible from our restaurant. It’s the largest plenary space in the Tolhuistuin. Previously this space was primarily used for art exhibitions, but we’ve upgraded it a bit and it is now also very well suited for a variety of public and private events. With a maximum capacity of 300 seats in a theatre setting, this venue is very well equipped for presentations, conferences, but also for seated dinners, receptions and other events. The space has a magnificent view of the IJ river and Overhoeks and can be tastefully furnished. There is a sliding wall that makes it possible to split up the space (‘Galerij large’ and ‘Galerij small’) and gives you the possibility to host separate workshops within the room.
