Pet is kunstenaar, verzamelaar en fotograaf en maakt kunst van overvloed. We leven in een tijd van overvloed, er te veel aan bijna alles. Door ons een spiegel voor te houden probeert hij dat duidelijk te maken. Zo maakt hij grote installatie van verzamelingen in Kunsthal, Jaarbeurs, Kröller-Müller Museum, buitenexposities van containers en caravans, cd's (70.000), LP's (25.000) en rode kleding (7.000), maar ook kleiner werken zoals de dildocactus van 900 dildo's, Barbie koepel en de korven van speelgoedpoppetjes, diertjes, bandjes etc. Zolang de productie van al dat overbodige doorgaat blijft hij verzamelen.

Pet is an artist, collector and photographer and he makes art of abundance. We live in a time of abundance, too much of almost everything. By holding up a mirror to us, he tries to make that clear.
