In order for all of this to flourish optimally, we have some Garden Rules:
Program Year-round there are many programs at the Garden and Garden House. Check the calendar at www.tolhuistuin.nl.
Opening Hours During the summer months, the Garden is open 7 days a week during the day. On weekends there is catering in the Garden, check opening hours on the website. In the winter months, the Garden is open on weekdays only. When the gates are closed, it is not allowed to enter the Garden. Then there is a program or nothing at all for a while. Optimal growth obviously includes adequate rest.
Dogs, bicycles and public urination Dogs are welcome to play in this little green oasis. Just keep them on a leash and clean up after them. We know, it is very tempting to bike through parks and place them where you prefer. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to bike in the Garden. Outside the Garden are bike racks. Watering our plants with your own urine is obviously not the intention.
Beverages Is the cafeteria in the Garden closed? Then you may bring your own drinks and food. Do clean up everything neatly. Bringing your own alcohol is not allowed.
