Over Musicians Without Borders

Youth culture as a connector in divided cities
Musicians Without Borders invites you to join them for the last of four meet-ups in the Tolhuistuin, to explore how music can make a life-changing difference for people affected by war and armed conflict, how music can be an agent for inclusion and social change, and to reflect on a deeper commitment to systemic change through the arts.
The evening starts with a presentation by Wendy Hassler-Forest on how rock music in divided Mitrovica (Kosovo) is reconnecting young musicians. Afterwards, moderator Otto de Jong will open the floor to the audience for an interactive discussion.
Wendy Hassler-Forest is a program manager, fundraiser and capacity builder for projects that work towards peace and social change in the Western Balkans.
