Description of the programme

sQuare Academy is a one-year course with a focus on concept thinking and entrepreneurial skills. sQuare Academy focuses on start-up entrepreneurial mbo graduates and self-taught creators (animation, illustration, graphic design, photography, film, game design).

Why? As creators, we all have great ideas. But clients are looking for more than that. An idea is fleeting. A strong concept connects with the client's vision, has stopping power, is easy to understand and explain, is recognizable, and not unimportantly: is long lasting and therefore continues to generate work for you! sQuare Academy was created in collaboration with BUUTVRIJ for life. Together we take you through all the steps of developing a concept for a client. So we focus on applied concept development.

During the monthly master class, BUUTVRIJ for life will work with you based on the theory.

- April masterclass sQuare Academy x BUUTVRIJ: Vision research led by Mark de Smet (Account Manager) and Thomas van der Mijl (Strategist).

Buutvrij takes you hands on in their practice: from first customer contact (briefing) to determining the "value fit". The most important measure: So what!

How do you dive into your client's world? We dive deeper into our cases/real life briefing. What drives this client? And what should you do with it?
