Boeklancering Doe Eens Normaal
Let's get real about the invisible rules that decide who gets taken seriously, who has to adapt, and who gets the space to just be themselves: in the workplace, in politics, and in our own heads. We're living in a time when diversity and inclusion are on every agenda, and yet for many people it feels further away than ever. The conversations have gotten harsher, groups increasingly stand opposed to each other, and "just act normal" is heard more and more as a weapon rather than an invitation.
With this book, we ask whether the problem actually lies with the people who deviate from the norm, or with the norm itself. It's full of personal stories, uncomfortable questions, honest reflections, and interviews with, among others, Maarten van Rossem, Barbara Barend, Fleur Overgaag, and Akwasi and above all, practical tools for creating a new normal together.
Especially now, in a time when it seems easier to let go of each other than to hold on to one another, we believe that connection isn't a given but something we get to work on together. That's exactly why we want to spend this evening with you.

About our event partners
