De opkomende singer-songwriter Corey Kent schrijft en treedt al bijna 20 jaar op. Kent, die zichzelf omschrijft als een "oude ziel", bevindt zich muzikaal op het kruispunt van rock-'n-roll en country. De Texaans is geïnspireerd door 'heartland' en de ruige, onvervalste streek dat hij zijn thuis noemt.
Hij heeft de podia gedeeld met artiesten als Parker McCollum, Cody Johnson en Eli Young Band en laat zich inspireren door The Eagles, Keith Richards en Turnpike Troubadours.
