The Warming Up Festival from Tolhuistuin is returning: from November 19 through 22, it will spark a conversation about climate change. Especially with those who have given up, especially with those who are skeptical: alliance instead of atonement.
Warming Up Festival is an arts and climate festival that, this year, shifts its focus from asking how we can live more sustainably to exploring why so many people, especially young people, have disengaged from a conversation that perhaps affects them most of all.
Over three days, the festival brings together art, journalism, music and dialogue to explore how individual choices relate to systems that are largely beyond our control, and where we can make a difference by acting collectively. It is a festival that makes room for imperfection, uncertainty and new forms of engagement.
You don't have to get everything right to make a difference. Warming Up Festival invites us to explore these questions together, not out of guilt, but from the belief that change begins by making connections and building solidarity.
