Rehearsing the Revolution laat ons zien hoe verhalen de wereld maken, wat onze mogelijkheden en verantwoordelijkheden zijn in relatie tot de verhalen om ons heen en hoe we ons die kunnen toe-eigenen.
In de workshop: Rehearsing the Revolution spelen we een storytelling game, waarin we de werkelijkheid vanuit verschillende perspectieven en waarheden kunnen ervaren en ontdekken wat ons bindt.
Het spel is zintuiglijk en artivistic, persoonlijk en universeel. Rehearsing the Revolution is een immersieve ervaring met theater, spoken word, beweging, experience design en visual arts.
Wij geloven dat veranderingen van binnenuit komen en zijn ervan overtuigd dat co-creatieve kunstervaringen culturele verschuivingen kunnen cultiveren en fundamentele veranderingen en samenwerkingen mogelijk kunnen maken. Zelfs onder omstandigheden waarin niets anders meer lijkt te werken.

SPACE is een in Amsterdam en Boedapest gevestigd kunstinitiatief dat werkt met immersive storytelling in diverse media, documentair theater en human centered social design. SPACE werkt vaak samen met partners buiten de kunstwereld zoals wetenschappers, sociale initiatieven en lokale gemeenschappen. SPACE creëert ervaringen die onverteerbare sociale dilemma's tastbaar en invoelbaar maken via de politiek van het persoonlijke. De projecten zijn co-creatieve learning by doing ervaringen, en een gelijkwaardige uitwisseling tussen de deelnemers en de facilitators. SPACE creëert safe spaces waar conflicten en verschillen op een respectvolle en speelse manier kunnen worden gedeeld zodat ze lichter worden.

Rehearsing the Revolution shows us how stories make the world, what our possibilities and responsibilities are in relation to the narratives around us and how we can appropriate them.
Rehearsing the Revolution is a storytelling game, in which we can experience reality from different perspectives and truths and discover what connects us.
The game is sensory and artivistic, personal and universal. The Rehearsing the Revolution game is an immersive experience working with the elements of theatre, spoken word, movement, experience design and visual arts.
We believe that changes start from the inside and are convinced that co-creative art experiences can cultivate cultural shifts, make fundamental changes and collaborations possible even under circumstances when nothing else seems to work anymore.

SPACE creates experiences that make indigestible social dilemma’s tangible through the politics of the personal. The projects are co-creative learning by doing experiences, and an equal exchange between the participants and the facilitators. SPACE creates safe spaces where conflicts and differences can be respectfully and playfully shared and by that illuminated.

Warming Up Festival
Tolhuistuin is Warming Up. Net als de rest van de wereld. Maar wat betekent dat? Hoe willen we verder? En, wat doet het met ons? Kom er achter tijdens Warming Up festival 2021 in Tolhuistuin!
Warming Up Festival presenteert vijf dagen op rij een spannend programma met kunst, muziek, theater, talkshows, podcasts en spoken word. We gaan in gesprek met kunstenaars, politici, journalisten en activisten.
Op het programma staan o.a. Ruben Hein, Collectief Walden, Joya Mooi, Woorden Worden Zinnen, Patrick Nederkoorn, Arita Baaijens, Nieuwe Helden, Why Not, Bonte Hond, de Church of Climate Change en een Activist Bootcamp met Anuna de Wever en Jerry Afriyie.
